Superb barbershop. Worth travelling for.

I lived a stone’s throw from the Owl barbershop for years and would go there regularly for haircuts. When I moved away, I tried to find another barber’s in my new neighbourhood but quickly came to the conclusion that you can’t beat the Owl! Stylish surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, friendly people, but most importantly, truly excellent haircuts.

Without a doubt, the best barbers in Islington! I’ve been a loyal customer for several years, and the team here is consistently professional, friendly, and always delivers a perfect haircut. I see Oliver for my cuts—he’s excellent with both long and curly hair. If you’re in the area, whether visiting or newly relocated, this place is a must-try!

I’ve been getting my haircut by Oli for 6 months now and will keep coming back for the foreseeable. Nice chilled atmosphere, the booking system is flexible and easy to use and Oli is a top bloke and top barber - great skin fade! If your main barber isn’t in, you won’t go wrong with any of the other lads as they all do a great cut - highly recommend! In fact, I referred my flatmate and he’s now a regular too.

Always get a brilliant haircut from James and he's a top man. On the odd occasion when the stars don't align I've had Oliver and he also does a quality cut. Easily the best barber shop I've had in London. Thanks!

Don't be put off by the fact that they dress like French anarchists the guys at Owl really know how to cut hair. I've always had a brilliant cut even though my hair, like QPR in Football Manager 2024, is difficult to manage. I often leave feeling 20 years younger although to be fair it could just be that my hangover has finally worn off.

Oliver always sorts me out with a good haircut. Good vibes, hard to beat and you’re offered a drink. Highly recommended in the Islington area, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
