Was definitely very nervous given this was my first haircut in 3.5 years but Ruaa was amazing. Firstly helping me deciding what I wanted to with my hair, and then providing helpful tips on styling it after. We had a very lovely conversation mid cut as well 🙂

Had my first haircut at Open Barbers just a week ago and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Greygory was incredibly kind and patient and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted. I was nervous but he made me feel extremely comfortable, safe and so so delighted with my new hair! The vibes of the shop are just wonderful, and in terms of covid safety (as someone quite worried) I was really impressed by the precautions and appreciated the communication about them in advance. The pricing system is very fair and well explained, with no pressure and community at the heart of the business. I could keep going but all I can say is, thank you to the person who recommend Open Barbers to me- they’ve been consistently going for 7 years and I hope I’ll be coming back at least as long!

I had a wonderful experience at the Open Barbers yesterday. I was booked with Rachel, who was incredibly patient and gentle throughout the entirety of my appointment. She talked me through each step of my hair cut as it was a style I had not had before. She cut it gradually and allowed me to choose when to stop/when I liked the look of it. She then styled it beautifully afterwards, and again talked me through each step. Plus, what the organisation is trying to achieve is so special, it's a very welcoming and inclusive place.
