I discovered that I have a similar experience with reviewers - Nico who gave Eddie & Co. Barbershop 1 star a year ago. If I have read Nico's comment, I won't have this bad eperience.

Bad Experience - A young barber in Eddie & Co. Barbershop would threaten you (by stopping cutting your hair in the middle of the haircut) to do additional service(s) for overcharging you.

I went to Eddie & Co. Barbershop for a haircut in the afternoon on 12 Oct 2024.

A young barber came to me. I told the young barber 'I just need a cut hair only and NO NEED TO WASH MY HAIR'. The young barber clearly heard my request and cut my hair.

During the haircut in the middle, he stopped cutting my hair suddenly and waved his hand to indicate that he wanna wash my hair. I told him 'I DON'T NEED THIS. I just need hair cut only' (I mean I don't need the service of washing hair). Nonetheless, he still stopped the haircut and insisted me to let him wash my hair. I have no choose to let him wash my hair. (Otherwise, he would still keep stopping cut my hair, waste my time and I have to leave without finishing the haircut.)

After finishing the haircut, he dared to charge me £18 for haircut & washing hair (the fee of haircut is £15 only). I immediately said 'I told you before (actually twice). I just need a haircut. You do it VOLUNTARILY (I mean he washed my hair voluntarily)'.

I paid the young barber £20 before but he just gave me £2 for the change initially and didn’t wanna give me back £5 for the change. I had to voice out and strongly request him to give me back £5 for the change numerous times. Finally, he gave me back £5 unwillingly.

Great Barbers! Gave me exactly what I asked for and super happy with the hair cut. They did my beard as well, which I never got anyone else to do for me before, and it's the tidiest and best looking it's ever been! Never doing my own beard again! Thank you Eddie and the boys!
