Took my son to 1st Class Fades today after reading through the reviews. The service and quality of the haircut did not disappoint!! The precision and attention to detail were second to none. Also so refreshing to go to a barber shop where you are acknowledged when you enter. My son is so happy with his hair cut. I would definitely recommend this business. Silver you did a wonderful job! Shop is small and intimate, but clean. The barbers are really polite and friendly. My kids LOVE it there, the service is spot on, and the equipments are clean and sanitized. Its mostly a apt system, which works GREAT for me (cut down the waiting time), my 2 boys REALLY feels themselves after they leave the shop!!! And I feel like it's money well spent. Will recommend to everyone, and most definitely stick with them!!!

My brother recommended Glen to me a year ago when Glen worked in Addiscombe. Unfortunately, I could never get an appointment back then as Glen operates on a strict appointment system. Glen has now opened his own shop in South Norwood on Portland Road. I can't recommend it highly enough. It's a lovley shop with all the up-to-date equipment. The premises are spotless as are the gowns and equipment and the atmosphere is warm, friendly, respectful and welcoming. My son who is 14 really enjoys having his hair cut by Glen at 1st Class Fades. Glen is clearly not only a artist but an absolute genius. his fades are precise, his cutting skills second to none and his manner totally charming. I was there this evening watching reels of the beautiful tropical island of St.Lucia and enjoying hearing the story's of Glen's other barber colleague (sorry I didn't get you name but I'm going to call you Mr St.Lucia!) time growing up there. I had a wonderful evening, and my sons hair cut was epic, best he's ever had. Thanks Glen, hope the business grows and evolves from one to 10 shops and on...... This is the best barber shop in town! As a female, I'm very particular about getting my haircut because sometimes the cut can be a little harsh and can make me look a little masculine. I love the professional approach maintained by both barbers in the way they treat their customers and the service delivered. If you don't have a permanent barber please make them your new home, they're excellent at what they do! Thank you 1st Class Fades x
